DIA JASKOT
Bio//
Dr Dia (Dobromila) Jaskot is an experienced, classically trained composer, specialising in video game music & film scoring.
She has started her musical education in early childhood in piano and composition, quickly becoming acknowledged and multi-awarded internationally. She has gained highly professional skills thanks to her broad range of musical studies (Master, PhD, film music postgraduate studies and courses). Before emigrating to Australia she was a Lecturer in film music, orchestration and electroacoustic music at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
She has been active in the music industry for over two decades, collaborating with numbers of ensembles and orchestras internationally. Her music and piano performance is featured in such video games like Lust for Darkness, or Lust from Beyond.
Thanks to the high knowledge and skills Dia's music shows her great understanding of the role music plays to bring up the emotions and build up the engagement for the visual narration, together with technical awareness of video game music interaction, adaptiveness and implementation.
